There are only two possibilities for what ultimately gives authority to one man over another man.

It is either:

1) Corruptible, flawed, subjective, manipulative, self-serving human power...

or

2) Perfect, loving, all-encompassing, fair, righteous and Holy authority from God.

One power coerces, the other acts out of love.
